I wasn't able to make it but I never said I was 100% forsure going to be there. I'm kind of sick of online poker as well, it's 100% luck since I can't see anybody or get any reads on people. I've been playing 3/6 limit at a casino near me for the last little while now and doing pretty well. I also couldnt play on sunday louie because I didn't have any money in my neteller account, and my credit card gets rejected by neteller, sportsbooks, online poker sites.
The only sure thing is that there is no sure thing.

yeah i am just so pissed right now about online poker because you dont know who you are playing, like the other day i lost so much money to this jackoff who just was calling for the hell of it on one hand
i started with pocket jacks
made a sizeable raise to keep 2 others in it...especially to with what the ass was holding should have folded
FLOP: 7 3 2
I make another raise...one folds, the ass stays in and calls
4th St: 9
I raise again...he calls
5th St: 5
I go all in with my pot...there is no way he has me beat...but the fucker was calling my raises from the get go with a damn 6 8 offsuited....he called all my raises with nothing till he made a straight on the river...what the hell

lol don't even get me started on shit like that Ben cause I could go on for hours. People don't view the online poker world as a business when really thats exactly what it is.
And as for the situation you were describing Ben I know exactly what you mean, it's impossible to play against someone who doesnt care about losing their money! If they're not afraid of losing what they have then they'll never fold when they "should", and thats hard to play against.

The other thing I've been liking about 3/6 limit is that most of the time 2 or 3 people make it to the river and will call bets after the river, and this forces them to show their hand. It's way easier to play against people when I can see what they're calling with than in a no limit game where most of the time it never gets to the point of peoples hands being exposed.

lol...its not the 22 bucks man...i just got to sware off all online poker...its an addiction like anything else i cant just play it one place and not play it somewhere else...sorry that the online tourny didnt work out but im sticking to just placing bets with games online...other than that my card playing is now done just in person

Picking up tells that is. Betting patterns is part of reading players and can be done online. The likelyhood of you getting a bad beat online is just as likely as in home games. It's the truth.
