3 MLB plays....

1-Cardinals to beat the Padres (Carpenter is virtually untouchable)

2-Cincinnati and LA OVER 8.5 (This over under is a total bargain considering that these two teams have scored a minimum of eleven runs together in five of their last six meetings this season. Add to that the fact that you have two bad pitchers, Clausen 4-8, 5.00 ERA and Houlton 4-3, 5.68 ERA going for their respective teams and you have the ingredients for a game that should EASILY exceed 9 runs scored).

3-Atlanta to beat Washinton (Sosa has been one of the most consistent starters for the Braves lately, and Washington has scored the least runs of any team in the majors).

I also like Montreal to beat Toronto in the CFL, as they are at home. Despite the fact that Toronto has the second best defense in the league (second only to Edmonton in points allowed), Montreal should prove to be too strong for the Argos on their home turf. I'm not sure what the spread for this game is yet, but I would expect Montreal to win by at least 4.

Good luck to everyone with their plays tonight!!

Pretty big upset by Toronto in that CFL game. I must admit I was very surprised they played that well on Montreal's home field. But its now starting to become very clear that this Alouettes team is not even close to the one that played last year. Their defense is terrible in comparison with AL's teams from previous years. I will be very cautious when betting on them from now on.

Anyway, 2 of the 3 baseball picks came through (St Louis and Atlanta), so not a bad night overall.
