Here comes the predictable downswing which baseball betting brings so many times a year, I've lost my last 2 days hoping not to start a downward trend.

Cubs/Cards Over 8.5

Cubs seem to score a lot of runs in these mid afternoon games, plus they teed off on Loshe last time out....Also the cubbies bullpen hasn't been too sharp of late with the exception of Kerry Wood, so I think somehow, someway, this game crawls over the total.

When I say a game's gonna crawl over the number....I mean it's gonna get over with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th....its a skill set that donkey has that gives him an advantage over your garden variety capper. Yeah, thats it.

Adding:

Florida/Colorado Over 11.5

This looks very obvious because of all the action in last nights game, the biggest issue going into a game such a game like this one is the state of both bullpens...both were exhausted last night and the starters are both all sorts of awful. Very well could be a trap at 11.5 (lol, how bout that) but I'm a sucker sometimes.
