donkey's NCAAF plays for 9/22

A slight change in my approach for the foreseeable future, will only be playing 3 games on Saturdays for the next few weeks until I hit my stride, seems as though I'm the only person that's losing ground these days. Haven't locked these in, but these are the probable plays for this week:

UConn +10

I understand that UConn almost lost to Temple last week, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were looking ahead to this game. I hoping the public is going to drive this line over 10 due to the debacle last weekend. My other thought....Why is Pitt a 10 point favorite against anyone? This team can't get out of their own way, they were not impressive last week against a overrated Michigan State team, although they still almost won. Too many TO's, very one dimensional offense, way too many injuries...I don't see how they win, let alone win by 2 possessions. A ML play is also in order, I feel very good about this game.

Georgia +3.5

Georgia is a pissed off team right now, Mark Richt closed practice for the first time in 7 years at UGA. The 1/2 point is so tempting, but UGA I feel has more talent than AU does. Also, don't read too much into the win last week vs. Arkansas, I'm not sold on AU being able to stop the pass.

Still trying to figure out the last play, but those 2 are for sure in play. Will lock in lines later in the week.

temple got screwed in that gane replay clearly showed the reciever was in bounds with posession but they failed to overturn the call on the field. I think you are right in this case though I can,t see Pitt being a double digit favorite.

I watched that MSU/Pitt game, and the spartans got an easy touchdown handed to them on a deflected pass. Otherwise it would have been MSU playing catch up all day, and who knows how it would have ended; fwiw.

I hear ya, but MSU isn't as strong as most make them out to be either. Pitt couldn't score on MSU's slightly below average defense, they are very one-dimensional at the moment because they CANNOT throw the ball to save their lives. The list of injuries Pitt has right now, it's amazing that they don't get run off the field. If Stephens-Howling comes back for Pitt, I'd be a little concerned though. Remember too, UConn won this game last year 46-45.

Final probable play:

Indiana +3

Mostly due to the fact that I don't understand this line. It is a classic matchup though, Indy's spread rushing attack versus Illinois' strong D-Line and fast LB's. Indiana won this game by 2 last year in Champaigne as a 7 point dog with a comeback from down 21 late in the game I believe. All that being said, I'll take my chances getting 3 in this spot, Illinois still hasn't proven to me that they can win on the road.
