Orange Bowl Line

USC -3 vs Okl...i really think this line will decrease towards a pick i believe there are alot of people out there that like Okl enough to move this line. I myself am leaning towards USC b/c of the youth in that Okl secondary

yea a lot of people are going to be betting on Oklahoma, but let me tell you this, I have watched every game Usc played this year and there is one thing everyone is going to miss. All the talk is on peterson running the ball, or stopping reggie bush, or leinart and white, but Usc's defensive line will make the difference. Shaun Cody and Mike Patterson are stud defensive tackles. The have a young one at defensive end named lawerence jackson who is making plays, and a core group of linebackers that are hard hitting and athletic. Their secondary is questionable, but if the d-line gets pressure it could be a long day for jason white and adrian peterson. Oklahoma is tough but I'll take Usc when the line moves to a Pk the night before the game.

Be careful with taking USC. First of all I think that Reggie Bush or Matt Leinart is going to win the heisman award. What does this have to do with picking a side in the orange bowl??? Well whoever wins the heisman will be on the cover of sports illustrated. And thats come with the sports illustated curse. Last year jason white won the heisman and was on the cover and everyone was on LSU and we all know the outcome. This year their was a player from UNC bball team on the cover and then they lost their first game outright! This has gone on for a long time. Personally I like Oklahoma right now, even though the majority of the public are on them, but my decision will be going against the team whose player wins the heisman..............

bparr13.......Its unbelieveable! I cant believe that no one has broken the curse yet. Seems rediculous, but i got burned on it last year. I donated $2000 to the bookie, I was on oklahoma! haha. And this year I had $300 on UNC in that bball game. I didnt know that they had a player on the cover until the day after i put in the bet. Tough to go against a trend that has lasted so long though. If i was a professional athlete i would ask sports illustrated not to put me on the cover!

The line will not go down for this game! The public will be betting USC- They have been number 1 for the whole year and they are the early favorite- The line might move a little but I think it goes Higher!

How often can you get OU with points? Stoops is a better coach and will have these guys ready- USC hasnt played well this year while OU Has won 3 big games away from Norman! This sets up well for OU, each team will have 3 weeks to prepare for the game, but USC will focus on a myth that Peterson will run all over them- The air attack will be first and then the run will come second!

First play for OU- Play action to Peoples for 40 yrds! Sets the hole tempo for the game!

USC is a good team, and this will be a sweet game!

Have a good one!

I am going heavy on USC even if the line stays at 3. I have not been impressed with Oklahoma at all, and like I have said before, I do not believe OU even deserves to be there. USC will make short work of OU defense.

Also, Heisman trophy winners end up on the losing side in Bowl games more than the winning side. Last four years, 1-3 in Bowls.

AUFan...........HAHAHA thats funny that Oklahoma doesnt even deserve to be there. I can see from your name that u are probably a Auburn fan. Well i had that thought, but then saw them get run all over by tenn. who blows, i knew that the polls were right!!! So i would say Oklahoma vs. USC would be alot better game than Auburn vs USC!

bparr13.........

Dont get me wrong, u are 100% right there. There should be a playoff system and everyone knows it, but with how the BCS is run now and having the national champion come down to one game, UCS and Oklahoma are def. the 2 best teams in the country! To be honest with ya, I think those 2 teams played better against the higher ranked teams then against the shit teams. This game should be a good one! But the again thats what i thought about last year.......

i know its a big wish but hey why not...see thats my problem also with the BCS they look at how you win which i totally disagree with, think about a team like Cal going into Southern Miss and they win by ten, but everyone is talking about how they only won by a small amount and thats not good enough...people dont say that USM was calling it their biggest home game in years they were pumped to play Cal on national tv....my point is whenever you are ranked high everyone is gunning for you and they will attempt to play lights out...i wish people would count a win as a win, that should be good enough, at least they got rid of margin of victory last year that started this entire mess.
