Ga Tech- Syracuse pick
Ilike Ga Tech -5 because not only is their pass defense is in the top 25, once they shut Syracuse's passing game, they'll have no problems stopping the run which they have given up only 119 yds. per gm. Syracuse is horrible playing away from home . They did beat Buffalo away from home ( whoopie ) but lost to temple by 10, west Va and Virginia both by 21 points If you go back to last season, Syracuse has lost by 51,17,7,20,and 44 when playing on the road. So with Syracuse's inconsistency of winning away from the Carrier Dome, I like Ga Tech . ADDED iNFO : Syracuse is 4-11 SU and 4-6 ATS when playing away from the Carrier Dome.
