What is the worst way you ever lost a bet on nfl ??

I did have some winners but I would have had a huge week had I not lost 3 games with in the last minute. I had Jax -4 and they lost with 15 seconds in a non cover by 1 point. I had New England -9 loosing by 2 when the Saints kick a meanlingless field goal. I also had Seattle in a teaser -4.5 and had won the other two games in the teaser. With 5 seconds left SF scores a touch down and fails on the 2 Point Coversion so the game would be sent into overtime and I would have a shot to cover. These are some pretty bad ways to loose games but what is the worse way you have ever lost a game ?

Also pretty good ways to win ....

Jaguars wasnt a good bet today.....This was a very good spot for them to lose..

I did not play it, but I almost pulled the trigger on Tennessee...

Jaguars are a really unstable team.

i once bet on 5 college football games one day like 2 years ago and i lost every game by the half point, i lost like over 1500 that day, but than won back 1000 in the nfl the next day and 250 on that monday night, so i only lost like 300 for that week but it was a weird one and dissapointing.

man!! I have posted these before in these forums but here are my 2 worst losses

This year I took usc(2nd half) -10.5 for a grand. As you know Notre dame was up 7 at half. Of course Usc drives the length of the field and scores a Td to make it -10 for the half. Sure lock right?? All I need is the extra point!! Well Sc gets a celebration penalty and gets pushed back 15, and misses the god damn extra point!!!!!.....Still can't believe that one!!!

Dont remember the exact line on this game, but what happened I know is accurate!!!!!!
I made a bet last year on the tenn/kc monday night game. I had a 500 teaser on the over(which hit easy) and Tenn +11.5. Well Kc is up 5 with less than 15 seconds. Tenn has the ball on like their own 30. They try a hook and lateral(which causes a fumble) Kc picks up the ball and goes for six!!!!! Of course they hit the extra point after the td............lol

Wow those are some really bad ways to loose. You must have been like crying when those happen. Thats why its never over till the clock hits 0. I don't think my bad beats were as bad as yours. I had a friend who had Oakland +3.5 vs the Chiefs the game where the Chiefs went for the win on 4th down and scored a touch down. After the touchdown the score was 23-20 and the clock was at 0. For about 5 minutes they are still showing coverage of the game and they never say final. For some reason they kick the exptra point for no reason and the game ends 24-20.

I had KC there. Your friend could have gotten the Raiders at 4 or 4.5. Kind of his own fault for not shopping for lines.

I can't really think of a really bad one with the NFL but with the CFL my worst ever beat was this past season, had a game on the under. One team is being blown out and its the last play of the game, they air it out deep and it gets intercepted and ran back like 80 yards to send the game one point over the total. Never been so mad at a play in my life.

We've all had crappy losses in our day!! isn't it funny how you only remember how you lost in the closing minutes but you never talk about the time you had a team +12 and they are down by 7 with less than 2 minutes to go and the other team is driving down to the 10 yard line and they choose to kneel the ball instead of racking up 6 more points to ruin the spread?????

or vice versa and they pound it in like Louisville a couple weeks ago to cover the spread!!

just remember that no matter how much the public is on one side, there is always somebody on the other!!

for every bad beat there is an amazing win!!!!

good luck tonight!!

Last season's collapse by Seattle vs. St. Louis. Rams score 17 points in the final 5 minutes, then score a TD in overtime.

The only way I could have lost that game is if it went into overtime and they would have HAD to get a TD, I thought it was money in the bank and saw later and couldn't belive it!!!

I had just explained to someone that there was a slim to no chance I was going to loose!! But look what happned!!!

it would of been a heartbreaker if you had michigan this past weekend gettin 3.5 and up by 2 points and losing to that TD in the last seconds, instead of ohio state kickin the field goal(which most teams do) for the win and coverin on michigans part. that was a bad won for heads on michigans side.

my brother bet on the lakers the other night givin 5 to the knicks and in the last 20 seconds the lakers run down the court to make it a 6 point lead instead of the previous 4. now there was like 6 seconds on the clock and the knicks come down and the lakers let trevor ariza do a meaningless dunk to make it a 4 point laker win. he lost like 750 on that game.

ok im done.
