Seattle might have had an easy schedule but they kicked the shit out of teams when they beat them. Even with that being said I still have to believe the skins can keep it close. They matchup with Seattle pretty well and the Seattle D isn't anything special

alright, seattle was 8-0 at home blowing out teams like the 49ers, texans, cards, rams.. they only beat dallas by 3 and barely beat the giants by 3. I think the skins are more on the level of the giants and dallas then the 9ers or texans. Also in the 3 games before tampa last week the skins were averaging over 30 points a game! and we put up over 30 points against tampa the 1st time we played them. I still don't see this as a blow out. I really hope the skins win but if they don't, I don't see it being by more then 3.

honestly between the 4 teams in the NFC, i would hate to see either Washington or Seattle in the Super Bowl....just horrible market. The Bears and the Panthers would be great.

Carolina vs New England would be a HUGE game. That would create the most ratings. Second would be Indy vs Chicago cuz of the offense/defense aspect of the game.

You don't think Gibbs -vs- belichek(sp) would be a good game?

The Redskins aren't that good either: They have only beaten sorry teams like The Eagles, Rams, Cards ect.. and lost to San Diego Oakland, OK so they did beat the Bears, but that was in the begining of the season and I feel that the Bears were no where near as good as they are now!!

I do see where you are comming from on the -9 spread so I would go ahead and take the points!!

But I would not be suprised to see a 17-31 final score in the favor of the Seahawks, they have one of the best all-a-round teams this year!!

Well that is my opinion!

I agree but I don't think any team is domanating the NFC, I think its anyones game. They beat the eagels (early predicted to go to the bowl again) swept dallas for the 1st time in forever, beat the giants. I agree the bears weren't what they are now when we beat them but I think the skins have improved also. We just won 6 playoff games in a row. I am not saying the skins are the best team out there, I just think we are as good as seattle. I may be proven wrong in about 3 days, but I will be on the points all day

Yeah but the Cowboys aren't very good and either are the Eagles!!

and what about the Skins offence?? can they score 30 points?? cuz they will probabily have to in order to win!

but if you are just wanting to win a bet I don't think taking 8.5-10 points is a bad bet!!

I think Seattle is just to well rounded for the Skins right now!

ok saying that the seahawks only beat dallas by 3 points at home and shawn alexander didn't get 100 yards in that game

The 3 games before playing Tampa (the #1 "D") they scored over 30 in all 3 of those games.. the offence will be there, I think moss and cooley will be fine against the #17 pass defence

thats exactly what I am saying

For what its worth Im taking the Skins +9 as one of my strongest plays this week...To me it looks like a highly overated team versus a highly underated team.....Seahawks defense isnt is though as Tampa's....The Skins will be able to move the ball against them...I lean on the over..But I like my chances better with the Skins +9...

Squirrel don't let your heart get in your way of your wallet.

The skins are going to be big losers on Sunday. You mentioned earlier in the thread that they had their way with the #1 Defense last week so should be able to stop Seattle.

First of all Washington's Offense was non-existent. They scored because of their defense and the only reason their defense scored was because of a Rookie QB.

Washington will fall behind early and need to rely on Old Man Brunell to play catch up. Not a good sign for the inconsistent offense of the Skins

Pick Seattle -9, hell I would even take them -14

I don't think I am. I have researched the stats on this game

yes I did ... and your point?

Ok, maybe you are not farmilar with Joe Gibbs, this is how he plays football. If you give him a 14 point lead and a defence playing like ours he will play a conseritive offence and just make sure no mistakes are make

this may be true but I thought Chris Simms didn't look all that bad out there

Just like the first time we played seattle, right? also look at evey team the skins played twice this year, look at the score of the 1st game then look at the score of the 2nd time we played them. we beat evey team the second time by at least 7!

Well, you know who I am taking and why. I think I have explained well in this thread... but good luck with your plays this weekend

Studplayr will become famous soon enough; and up and coming hot prospect with natural talents!
I don,t think the points make adifference in this game so i,m betting as follows.
1 Seattle-9 1/2
2 wash M/L +300
3 was/Sea Under41
I think Gibbs plays a conservative game and keeps the scoring down. Hoping to win the M/L bet and lose the sea. bet.
i also have futures bets on the Skins and Bronco,s I made earlier in the season I,m rooting to bring in.

The risk is Seattle winning by less then 9.5:
like Seattle 27-21.

Good luck!!
