Long Faces
did anyone notice carolina coming out of the tunnel with there logn faces and they barely jogged out, especially jake delhomme who is usually hyped as fuck. i saw this and turned to my brother and said, they dont have a chance, lets just hope they cover the 11.5. i hate bad body language. did anyone else notice this?

Yeah I would have to agree with you on that. Sometimes before a game, you can tell by their body language. It was like "Shit, I'm gonna have to suck it up and throw 3 picks and lose the game today."
I remember Ray Lewis hyped as fuck coming out of the tunnel in the SuperBowl vs the Giants and yeah they kicked ass. Also, with coaches too. I've noticed that many times. It may be a close game, but just the body language...he knows his team is going to lose. |

Holmgren and Cowher are excellent examples of this. When holmgren has that little smirk on his face his team is going down. Cowher on the other hand has a pissed off look on his face and in his actions when his team is gonna lose and is upbeat in both expressions and mannerisms when he figures he,s got it in the bag. Of the two I think Holmgrens smirk is the more reliable forecaster.

i don't know if body langauge was the deciding factor, but looking at the chicago game, where they just came out furious to last sunday's game, there was a huge difference, i think that seattle crowd really overwhelmed them...
the game is still decided on the field, but having a crowd like that really helps, seattle got up rather quickly and never looked back
