your week 11 lookahead

There are some ridiculous lines this week:

Cleveland -2.5 @ Baltimore
NY Giants -3 @ Detroit
Jacksonville -3 vs. San Diego

First off, I don't care how bad Baltimore is right now, but are we ready to start laying points on the road with the Browns? The Browns?

The Lions will probably lose this week, but I still cannot for the life of me believe that they are a 3 point dog at home.

How is Jacksonville only laying 3 to a San Diego team that has looked awful their last 2 games? I'm ready to POUND Jacksonville, but if it looks too good to be true........

Dallas should now be getting New England treatment until further notice, which means you either bet on them, or you don't play the game. They are something else right now.

St. Louis will probably be a 3 point road favorite, and I don't blame the books for throwing this line out there like that. But this team has 1 win, and they're a road favorite? Something stinks about this game, and STL is 1-5 ATS in SF their last 6.

Early thoughts:

Cincy -3
Jax -3
Oak/Min Under <27

Why are you hating on the browns? Have you even seen them play this year? They nearly beat a Pittsburgh team that humiliated Baltimore 2 weeks ago. They are scoring at will against everyone they've played. They are the real deal.

Yes, living where I do I've had MANY chances to see them play, since they usually are on CBS in these parts. They have the WORST defense in football (giving up 30 yards per game more than the 31st ranked D), they are 1-3 on the road (their only win against then winless St. Louis, a game they were losing badly until Stephen Jackson got knocked out in the 1st half), they just blew a game last week them should have won...and now they're a 3 point favorite? Baltimore isn't a very good team right now, but Cleveland will get pounded by the public but I'm just not sold on them yet.

I think the Cleveland defense may look a little better against the Baltimore offense

I am pretty sure that Baltimore and Detroit will be on my card this weekend. I don't know about the StL SF game, but since SF layed an egg last night, that almost means they are good next week. Where does a one win team get off on being a road favoirte.

Nothing set right now, but some intial thoughts.

mrsports, you took the words right outta my mouth. I may or may not play these games, but I like to get conversation going. I know why the Rams are a favorite, it doesn't mean I agree with it though, lol.

Reeter, good to see you back

believe it or not.. i would lay my money on the rams before i laid my money on the 49ers.. you thought the ravens had a bad offense.. just look at the 49ers. they barely had a 1st down in the first half of mondays game.. and they shouldnt of had one if it wasn't for that horrible call when smith bombed it down field and battle 'supposedly' caught the ball. the rams beat the saints who actually turned their season around. with a healthy offense and the rams.. i think -3 is a gift.. just my opinion.

as for the ravens and the browns.. id stay away. boller looks like he'll get the start and who knows what he can do under center.. i'm staying away.

DM, the Rams still have a hard time winning outdoors...I'm staying away too, St Louis is 1-4 ATS at San Fran their last 5 I believe and 0-6 overall last 6 (and there were some worse SF teams).

There are better games on the board this week, imho. Either way,
