I did a little number crunching tonight to help make some preseason plays the next couple weeks. Rather than blindly following Louie (which will almost always prove profitable long-term) and picking unders I came up with a few betting filters for the last couple weeks. The logic behind these ideas is pretty simple, feel free to post if you have any questions. I added the ATS numbers over the last couple years too...
- Bet against any team in week 2 that won in week 1 by 14 or more (24-2) - Bet ON a home team off a road loss vs opponent off a road win if the line is +/- 3 (14-4) - Bet OVER a total of 35 or less in the last 2 weeks of the visitor is off a SU loss (29-6 OVER) - Bet ON teams with new coaches as home dogs (18-3) - Bet against favorites of 7.5 or more (27-10) - Bet ON any favorite off a shutout loss (11-1) - Bet AGAINST any home team off a win that scored 30+ and allowed 10+ (28-9) - Bet ON the loser of last years playoff game the following year (19-3) (ex: New England over NY Giants in preseason week 3) - 7 Point teaser with any home dogs (68-7)
