Being a Bears fan and season ticket holder, I'm extremely excited about the day we had yesterday.

Huge improvement on defense with Peppers. Chester Taylor will give Forte something to work for and could be a great 1-2 punch. Signing Manumaleuna will give us the opportunity to trade a TE for a draft pick or two.

We still need alot of work on the offensive line and possibly a draft pick or two for a TE will help that. Glad they finally spent some of that money I've been giving them over the last 9-10 years. Not mention the spike in ticket prices this year after having a shitty year last year.

How'd everyone elses team's fair?

Da Bears and DA Lions ruled the first day. I do love the Ravens getting Boldin for a 3 and a 4. That may have been the best move so far IMO.

Yeah, I thought that Boldin deal was good too, however, I don't think the Ravens will be able to utilize him. Flacco just isn't a great passing QB, unless he's been hiding something from us all.

My Texans have really already done everything they needed to do. Kevin Walter is reportedly resigned, and Dunta Robinson is gone. Dunno what more I reasonably could've asked for than that. Need a corner badly in the draft.

I disagree about Flacco, BPD. I think he is going to have a great career and Boldin is going to help him get over the hump. I think Cutler may be the one who needs to prove he's not a overpaid primadonna. Perhaps you are confusing the two :P

Niners resigned Bass and Brooks which they nbeeded to do. I don't like the Carr deal they are working out. I would rather them look for a QB in the draft.

Jake Delhomme may be the worst full-time starting quarterback I've seen since Trent Dilfer... and that's saying something

Houston was one of the best six teams in the AFC last year, which is why Kubiak kept his job. If the Texans don't make the playoffs next year though, it's adios.

Trent Dilfer has a ring. There are a lot of quarterbacks that would love to have his ring.

i'm ok with delhomme, i think, unless he has a huge bounce back year, will play this year and maybe part of next year, because by the 2011 draft, we'll probably have drafted someone to play the positon.

we didn't do a ton, but we also have a boatload of picks. i think the browns might be looking to possibly move up at some point.

i think maybe a fresh clean slate could help. i will say this, if delhomme bounces back, cleveland fans are gonna love jake delhomme, that guy has fire.
