This system doesn't seem to be catching fire this year. Maybe it's just an off-year for this one. Have you used this system in past NHL seasons? I am a big believer in systems like these, just wondering how this have faired for you in past years...

I started noticing a trend earlier this year, so I checked the results. Here's the results until I started posting the plays. This is playing against any fav -200 or higher.

100 games

73/100 +1.5 for the dog, would have won

45/100 dog won outright

55/100 fav won outright

27/100 fav covered -1.5

Here's the stats for last year:

256 games qualified.

59/256 dogs won outright

133/256 dog +1.5 covered

197/256 fav won outright

123/256 fav covered -1.5

Based on last year's results and what I'm seeing so far, it looks like this would have been profitable early in the year and it's now starting to correct itself.

If you don't want me to post them anymore, I won't. I was just wondering how they were going to play out for the rest of the year.

I update the overall standings for the entire year.

151 games

102/151 +1.5 for the dog, would have won.

I don't know the total amount of units, but these plays probably average close to -150. So with that in mind this system/trend would be give or take 30 units this year.

32-24 +.15 YTD on the posted plays.

105 out of 156 on the season. Playoffs start Wednesday, I'm not going to track anymore, so I'll let this thread die.

It appears that this year, it would have been profitable, especially early in the season to play these plays. Last year it was a loser. Maybe playing +1.5 plays until the all-star break.

Playing the +130 home dog system similar to my baseball one, had a good year, up 35 units. No more hockey for me this year.
