Calgary finally put out the flames on their disastrous seven-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday night. However, the Flames managed to extend their 'under' streak to eight games with the combined four goals scored.

Over the seven-game slide, Calgary could only muster a horrendous three goals combined and the team was shutout four times.

Part of the problem, is that last year's only 50-goal scorer, Jerome Iginla, has lit the lamp on just four occasions this campaign. The club also owns the most futile power play in the NHL with an embarrassing 10.4 conversion percentage.

In contrast, the Bruins own the No. 8 extra-man attack in the league, and they're roasting opponents at a 26.5 percent clip on the PP at home. Boston has only lost once in nine outings in front of the home fans this season and the club is riding a five-game winning streak at home.

The Bruins have also taken the money in 8 of their last 10 and in the past two meetings with Calgary. They currently lead the Eastern Conference with 30 points.
