I can't fathom that anyone has been silly enough to bet on the Thrashers every game. But if you did, you'd be out $435 right now.

But help could be on the way, as the club recently traded for speedy center Marc Savard from the Calgary Flames and signed former Boston goalie Byron Dafoe. Dafoe will be a welcome addition to the league's worst defensive team, which is giving up a generous 3.85 goals per game.

Montreal hasn't been one to turn away gifts from Atlanta and the Habs have potted five goals in three of the last four meetings. The Canadiens are 3-0-1 during the last four games in the series, and they've only lost once to Atlanta in the last 10 clashes.

Montreal has dropped its last two outings, including a 3-7 destruction at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes Saturday night. The Habs No. 1 netminder Jose Theodore has missed the past two games with a hip injury, but hopes to return against Atlanta.

i respectfully correct you louie....Jose played last game giving up 7 goals on 31 shots...Is he still hampered by the hip?? guess we will see tonight! Lord Byron has finally found a home and hopes to start tonight I think giving 6 is too high on this one I am on the UNDER.
