Toronto obliterated Philadelphia 6-0 Saturday night, despite managing only 16 shots on goal. The club also blanked
Boston 2-0 prior to facing the Flyers.

Toronto hasn't outshot an opponent in eight games, but that could change against a porous Washington defense, that's giving up 32 shots per contest.

The Leafs will play this affair on zero days of rest after a tough battle with provincial rival Ottawa on the road. Toronto is 0-3 on no days rest this year.

The Capitals look to jump start their struggling offense, which is scoring a paltry 2.33 goals per game and ranks fourth-worst in the NHL. It won't be easy, as sniper Peter Bondra is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
