Hey guys. I am new here, but wanted to add a comment with respect to all the sportsbook.com bashing. I just recieved a check for $500 and surprise, surprise it bounced and I I am in the middle of this drawn out process of getting my money.

They said they are going to credit my account and I need to make another withdrawl.

Bettors beware. A once respected book, is going into the crapper.

There is no question that they are falling apart. They have no regard for their customers security and completly take advantage of the trust that their customers place in them. As you can see, they are no longer on our list of reviews above and I will soon rid this site of everything sportsbook.com. It was a mistake adding them in the first place. I was very hesitant to do so, but so many users here used them at the time and had good experiences. But, that was long ago. This book has completely lost my respect. Their marketing people don't even bother defending their actions anymore.

One thing all players who currently have money with sportsbook.com should remember;
Do not spend your payout money until the check has cleared at your bank. Make sure the funds have cleared before taking the money from your bank!

Regarding sportsbook.com, we are way past the point of reserving any hope for this book. Even if their processors were getting raided, they should be making every effort possible to rectify the situation for their customers. They should be doing things such as offering Western Union or MoneyGram payouts for free to the players to get the cash in the player's hands as quick as possible. They also should be attempting to fix any overdraft problems that they may have caused. A bounced check is one thing, but repeated bounces and then telling the player that their account has been credited and then making the player wait again for another payout is another thing entirely. When problems arise, a good book goes out of their way to make things right.

Sportsbook.com has reported that they worked out this problem. But, with these gov't siezures of online poker sites, I wouldn't be suprised if they have to switch processors again.
