I just want to inform you all, in case you aren't aware, sportsbook.com (including subsidiaries of Sportsbook.com) will be leaving the United States market. This doesn't mean you must leave these books right away. However, they will no longer be accepting any NEW players from the states (until further notice). Aparrently, the got spooked by the gov't crackdown of online poker sites Full Tilt and Poker Stars

What does this mean if you are NOT a current sportsbook.com customer (living in the United State)?
This will not effect you. You can continue playing at our other sponsor sportsbooks. However, you will not be allowed to play at Sportsbook.com for the time being.

What does this mean if you are currently a sportsbook.com (or Hollywood Sportsbook) customer (living in the United States)?
According to sportsbook.com, they will allow their current customers from the states to continue to play. However, they will not be accepting any new customers from the United States. This means that you can indeed continue to play for the present. However, my heavy recommendation at this time would be to cash out and switch your sportsbook.com account over to another sponsor book some time in the very near future. The reason I recommend this is due to the fact that this book will no longer be focusing on processing American deposit/payment methods making it much harder to deposit and withdrawal for Americans in the future.

If you have any questions about this news, please be sure to post it here. I will be here to answer any questions that you may have. Rest assured, you accounts and your money will be safe if you currently have a balance at either of these books.
