The 2013 MLB betting season is finishing up here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make more of our patented MLB picks for one of our favorite times of year. On Friday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers will be led onto the field by Clayton Kershaw, as they visit the St. Louis Cardinals, who will be countering with Michael Wacha in the NLCS Game 6. The first pitch from Busch Stadium is set to be thrown out at 8:30 p.m. ET
Friday Baseball Picks: Los Angeles Dodgers @ St. Louis Cardinals Game 6

Los Angeles Dodgers (Clayton Kershaw) -125
St. Louis Cardinals (Michael Wacha) +115
Wacha, Wacha, Wacha! Fozzie Bear would be proud as could be about what RHP Michael Wacha has done in his last three starts, as he has been completely brilliant and has his team on the verge of the World Series. Wacha has a 6-1 record thus far in his rookie season including in the playoffs, and his ERA is down to just 2.40. He has a 0.40 ERA and a 0.53 WHIP in his last three starts, and the one run that he did give up came off of a solo homer on the road against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The legend of this kid continues to grow with every pitch that he throws, but there is a point that we have to be realistic and see that his sample set is just 78.2 innings in his MLB career. The Cardinals are good, and they very well could pick up their righty in this game, but to think that, on the verge of the World Series, he’ll be able to throw another one of these games where he gives up two hits and one run over seven innings would be a bit absurd.
What’s not absurd? The idea of LHP Clayton Kershaw pitching a complete game shutout tonight. Kershaw has only posted a 0.47 ERA in his last three outings here in the postseason as well, and though he is only 17-10 for the season in his 36 starts including the playoffs, that 1.73 ERA and 0.90 WHIP, not to mention well over a 9.00 K/9 are what really separates him from the rest. The Dodgers aren’t nearly done yet, and they wouldn’t be the first team in the world (or heck, the first team from California either!) to come back from down 3-1 to win a series. Even if this game is won, the series isn’t over either, knowing that RHP Adam Wainwright is waiting in the wings for Game 7 at home. We do think we’ll get there though, as Kershaw will be a stud and keep this game at hand with an easy victory.
