[902] WAS NATIONALS -285 ( ACTION ) over NY METS
7:05 P.M.
RISK: 600
WIN: 211

This is a matchup that features a one-sided meeting on the mound that is heavily slanted in the Nationals direction. Given Vargas’ problems on the road should bode quite well for Washington’s bats with what could be a decisive late-season win over an NL East rival!
Betting on or against the Washington Nationals: 72-30/70.60%, +36620.00.

[914] CLE INDIANS -200 ( ACTION ) over CHW
7:00 P.M.
RISK: 500
WIN: 250

Shields could be exposed by one of the best lineups in baseball. The Indians face a pitcher in Shields who tends to struggle after effective starts. He’s had some real nice moments lately but he tends to mix in a bad start after a quality one. He is coming off a quality start.
Betting on or against the Cleveland Indians: 38-18/67.90%, +19330.00
.

(TBA) TB RAYS (TBA) over Toronto
7:07 P.M.
RISK: 500
WIN: (TBA)

Tampa Bay is white hot over the last month and still has a chance to catch the A’s for the second wild card spot in the American League. It’s going to be an uphill climb to make up that much ground but the Rays have exceeded expectations all season. Stanek does a great job limiting opponents from putting runs on the board in the opening inning before handing the ball off to the rest of the bullpen. Gaviglio has struggled most of the season and that continues here. Tampa Bay’s hot streak continues as they win the opener here.
