The Cardinals now know that they have to go back to Miller Park for Game 6 of the NLCS, but the question is going to be whether they’re going to need to win one out of two or both games on the road to be able to make it to the World Series. Things aren’t looking good in this one though, as Zack Greinke is going to be taking the mound for the second time this series, and Yovani Gallardo is waiting in the wings for either Game 6 or Game 7. Jaime Garcia gets the ball from Manager Tony LaRussa.

We tend to find it a tad odd that the Cardinals are favorites in this game in spite of the fact that they are still 8-3 in their last 11 meetings against Milwaukee. Garcia clearly isn’t the better pitcher on the mound, and Greinke is 2-0 and his team is 3-0 in his three playoff starts. Both of these pitchers have been lit up pretty badly here in the postseason, but we expect to see LaRussa play this game like it is Game 7 of the World Series ad not a not-so-do-or-die situation in Game 5. That should be good enough to eke out a win to take a 3-2 series lead back to Milwaukee for what should be a fun weekend of baseball. St. Louis Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers Game 5 Predictions: St. Louis -120
