Game 6 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers kicks off tonight in Indianapolis, where the Pacers will look to extend their season by making for great NBA playoff picks against one of the favorites to win the NBA Finals.

NBA Matchup: #2 Miami Heat @ #3 Indiana Pacers Game 6
Date: Thursday, May 24th, 8:00 ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
NBA Playoffs Odds: Miami -3
NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

Doesn’t it seem odd that the Heat are favored in this game? Chris Bosh is still out of the fold, and Udonis Haslem and Dexter Pittman are both going to be sitting on the sidelines after being suspended for this game. So what the heck are the Heat going to have left to battle Roy Hibbert in the post? Eddy Curry? Puh-lease. So it would seem like the Pacers are the right pick in this one, right? Instead, we are very cautious. We tend to think that Miami has figured Indiana out after back to back romps in this series, and in spite of the fact that Larry Bird called his team S-O-F-T after losing to the Heat in Game 5, we still think that the possibility is there that the Pacers get run off of their home court tonight. Danny Granger is hurting for sure, and that could make all the difference. Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are still D-Wade and LeBron, and they aren’t going to want to see this series come back to South Beach for what would amount to be quite the nervy Game 7. Go with Miami to finish this series off on Thursday night.

NBA Free Pick: Miami Heat -3
