NBA Matchup: #2 Oklahoma City Thunder @ #1 San Antonio Spurs Game 1
Date: Tuesday, May 29th, 9:00 p.m. (ET)
Location: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
NBA Playoffs Odds: San Antonio -4.5
NBA TV Schedule: TNT
We were right in backing the Thunder two nights ago in the first game of this series, as we really expected this to be a competitive series through and through. We definitely didn’t get a disappointment for sure. Tim Duncan had a double-double, Manu Ginobili came off the bench and led the Spurs with 26 points, and in the end, San Antonio was the slightly better team. The Thunder definitely showed some promise at times though, as they really had this one in hand before blowing it in the fourth quarter. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook will shoot the ball better in this one though, and that could mean that the Thunder are on their way to their first win in this series. Either way, we know that we once again want the points on our side, as we expect to see these games all stay fairly close in this series. Don’t be shocked if we see a very, very similar result to the 101-98 win for the Spurs that we saw on Sunday night.
NBA Free Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder +4.5
