On Monday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Monday!

NBA Matchup: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Orlando Magic
Date: Monday, February 13th, 7:00 ET
Location: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
NBA Betting Odds: Orlando -5.5
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

The oddsmakers have seemingly caught onto the fact that the Magic haven’t been all that stellar of late. The team finally got back on track though over the course of the last week or so, and a 99-94 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday on the road was a huge triumph for the team. Orlando is still trying to prove that it is an elite team in the East, and if that is the case, games like this should be won significantly more often than not. Though we think that the T’Wolves are a better team than anyone forecasted this year, they aren’t a team that is going to finish .500 in all likelihood. That being said, they have already dropped back to back games, and going on the road isn’t going to help matters on Monday night. Look for the Magic to claim a victory by double digits on Monday.

NBA Pick: Orlando -5.5

NBA Matchup: Phoenix Suns @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Monday, February 13th, 10:30 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Golden State -4
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

After Head Coach Mark Jackson decided that he was going to bench his entire starting lineup in the fourth quarter of a tight game, the Warriors have seemingly responded. The team’s offense has caught fire again, and that could be bad news for the rest of the conference. Sure, the defense for Golden State is still atrocious, but the Suns, who have more than 99 points scored just twice since the middle of January, won’t be able to take advantage of that fact. Phoenix clearly is the inferior team in this game in our eyes in spite of what the two records say, and playing at Oracle Arena always seems to be a big time boost for the Warriors.

NBA Pick: Golden State -4
