On Thursday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Thursday!

NBA Matchup: Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks
Date: Thursday, February 2nd, 8:00 ET
Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
NBA Betting Odds: Off
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

We don’t quite have a line yet to work with in this one, but what we do have is a lot of knowledge about both of these teams. This is a brutal matchup for the Bulls, as they don’t normally run into teams that have the manpower to be able to body with them. Luol Deng might still be out of the fold, which really leaves just Joakim Noah to go up against Tyson Chandler and Carlos Boozer to match up with Amare Stoudemire. The problem comes when Carmelo Anthony starts bringing down boards as well. We know that New York is just 2-12 ATS in its last 14 home games, but we also know that this Chicago team was beaten by a Philly team last night that probably isn’t as good as the Knicks (in spite of what the records say for the two teams). Back the hosts at MSG, knowing that you are probably going to be catching points from the oddsmakers.

NBA Pick: New York Knicks

NBA Matchup: Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Clippers
Date: Thursday, February 2nd, 10:30 ET
Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Los Angeles -1.5
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Two nights ago, we backed the Nuggets and ended up with some egg in our face with an overtime loss to the Grizzlies. In fairness, it was a game that Denver probably should have won, and on most nights, it probably does finish Memphis off on the road. Now, the team has to come to Staples Center on a two-game skid, the first of those two losses which came against these Clippers. The Clip Joint is coming off of a tremendously emotional win against the Jazz on the road, which was the first time that they won in Utah in nine tries. We tend to think that those emotions are going to get the most of LA in this one, as the team is going to come back home exhausted and not ready for the payback that the Nuggets are going to try to hand out. Take Denver and the points.

NBA Pick: Denver +1.5
