On Friday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Friday!

NBA Matchup: Dallas Mavericks @ Orlando Magic
Date: Friday, March 30th, 8:00 ET
Location: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
NBA Betting Odds: Orlando -5
NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

Every now and again, a team just gets absolutely reamed for no reason seemingly whatsoever. That’s what happened to the Magic on Wednesday when they were dominated from the get go by the New York Knicks, who were playing without Amare Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin. That being said, normally speaking, a team comes back from that on a regular basis without a hitch and blows someone out of the water. The Mavericks are the poor team that really should be the sacrificial lamb. The Magic are 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four games against teams that played in Miami the night before, and historically, they are well over a 60% ATS team in this situation. Parlay in the fact that they were blown out two nights ago and have had a day to rest, while the Mavs have been traveling up from Miami, and the recipe is just ripe for a disaster for the defending champs.

NBA Pick: Orlando -5

NBA Matchup: Portland Trail Blazers @ Los Angeles Clippers
Date: Friday, March 30th, 10:30 ET
Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Los Angeles -8.5
NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

The Clippers have won three in a row both SU and ATS since the threat seemed to really be there that Head Coach Vinny Del Negro was going to get fired. Now, they get to take on a Portland team that really isn’t all that deep and just doesn’t feel like it is going to contend this year. These teams have already met three times this year, and the favorites are 3-0 SU and ATS in those games. If you want to go back in history a bit more, the favorite is 23-9 ATS in the last 32 in this series. There is no doubt whatsoever that LA is the better team in this one, and it is playing with the confidence that should make this a double-digit victory for the hosts.

NBA Pick: Los Angeles -8.5
