On Tuesday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Tuesday!

NBA Matchup: Houston Rockets @ Boston Celtics
Date: Tuesday, March 6th, 7:30 ET
Location: TD Garden, Boston, MA
NBA Betting Odds: Boston -4.5
NBA TV Schedule: FOX Sports, Comcast Sports

Ever since threatening to trade Rajon Rondo, the Celtics have really played better ball and have put GM Danny Ainge in a bit of a quandary. It is clear that this team is good enough to contend in the playoffs, but there is a real question as to whether there is really any hope of knocking off the Bulls and the Heat. The question tonight though, is whether Boston can beat the Rockets, and we think that with as well as it is playing right now, it should be able to put away the boys from the Lone Star State relatively easily.

NBA Pick: Boston -4.5

NBA Matchup: New York Knicks @ Dallas Mavericks
Date: Tuesday, March 6th, 8:30 ET
Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX
NBA Betting Odds: Dallas -2.5
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

We have a real issue here with the oddsmakers in this one. The Knicks are still a team that is below .500, and they are still a team that is three games below .500 this year on the road. Dallas is a fine home team with a 14-7 record, and we know that there is a bit of revenge that Dallas is going to be looking for after losing to the Knicks at MSG just a few weeks ago. The Mavs should be alright on Tuesday night.

NBA Pick: Dallas -2.5
