On Thursday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Thursday!

NBA Matchup: Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls
Date: Thursday, March 8th, 8:00 ET
Location: United Center, Chicago, IL
NBA Betting Odds: Chicago -6.5
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

The first half of the TNT double dip on Thursday pits two of the top teams in the East against one another. However, we aren’t so sure which Orlando team is going to show up. Is it the one that went into the break with the third best record in the conference, or the one that has been blasted this year by both Charlotte and New Orleans and has struggled in so many other games like that? The Bulls have won eight in a row though, and it is hard to see how they aren’t going to win this one by at least a touchdown when push comes to shove, especially if Orlando just isn’t mentally in the game.

NBA Pick: Chicago -6.5

NBA Matchup: Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns
Date: Thursday, March 8th, 10:30 ET
Location: US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ
NBA Betting Odds: Dallas -3.5
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Dallas is clearly the better of these two teams, but we aren’t so sure that the Suns aren’t going to win this game. The Mavs are still a relatively poor road team this year at just 8-10, and we aren’t convinced that their win over the Knicks two nights ago is going to right the ship from a team that had lost five of its previous six. Phoenix didn’t stand a chance against Oklahoma City last night, but now that it is back at home, it can try to build on its 5-1 home stand that it just came off of from the middle of February through the break and into the beginning of March. Back the high flying Suns to trash the Mavs on Thursday.

NBA Pick: Phoenix +3.5
