On Wednesday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Wednesday!

NBA Matchup: Orlando Magic @ Boston Celtics
Date: Wednesday, April 18th, 8:00 ET
Location: TD Garden, Boston, MA
NBA Betting Odds: Off The Board
NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

The Magic just haven’t fared well against the Celtics this year, and we have no reason to believe, regardless of what the line is in this one, that they are going to be in any better shape without Dwight Howard. That means that Daniel Orton is going to be taking on Kevin Garnett. Yikes. Orlando is 4-9 ATS in its last 13 on the road, and we still don’t think, in spite of these last two wins, that this team is right. Boston is 8-1-1 ATS in its last 10 at home. We just don’t see this one working out well for the Magic.

NBA Pick: Boston Celtics

NBA Matchup: Los Angeles Lakers @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Wednesday, April 18th, 10:30 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Off The Board
NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

Yuck again. The Lakers are going to almost surely go into battle without Kobe Bryant in this one, and though that is a notable injury, it is nothing compared to the fact that the Warriors are playing without David Lee, Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut, and Richard Jefferson. We still think that the Lakers, just like the Magic, aren’t right at this point, and this is a game in which the Warriors will want to prove that they can play. Sure, they’ve lost five in a row. Call them due for a ‘W’ in spite of the fact that they are almost certainly tanking games at the end of the season to try to get more ping-pong balls.

NBA Pick: Golden State Warriors
