On Thursday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Thursday!

NBA Matchup: New York Knicks @ Charlotte Bobcats
Date: Thursday, April 26th, 8:00 ET
Location: Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte, NC
NBA Betting Odds: Off The Board
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Goodness, what a game this is going to be… The last the time the Knicks came to Charlotte, they won 111-78, and now, the Bobcats are going to have to win this game to avoid being known as the team with the worst losing percentage in the history of the NBA. New York knows that it wants to win this game, as a date with the Miami Heat is a heck of a lot more palatable than one with the Chicago Bulls. In the end, even with Head Coach Mike Woodson resting a ton of his players, we just don’t see how the Bobcats are going to get off the mat and have the desire to play this game all that much.

NBA Pick: New York Knicks

NBA Matchup: San Antonio Spurs @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Thursday, April 26th, 10:30 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, San Francisco, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Off The Board
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Pop quiz, hot shot. Name three players on the Golden State Warriors that will be in the lineup on the final day of the regular season. If you guessed any of Andris Biedrins, Nate Robinson, Dorell Wright, Stephen Curry, David Lee, or Andrew Bogut, you’re wrong on all accounts. This team that Golden State is fielding right now is just atrocious, and though we know that the Spurs are going to be resting Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker, that still doesn’t make up for the fact that the Warriors are atrocious. San Antonio, even with very little to play for this week, has still won and covered nine games in a row, and we cannot forget that fact going into the final game of the regular season. There are a bunch of guys out there that are trying to prove that they can play in the playoffs and be regulars in the rotation for Head Coach Gregg Popovich, and this is a great chance for that to happen.

NBA Pick: San Antonio Spurs
