It’s time to tip off another great day of NBA betting action here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free basketball picks for some of the best games on the docket on Tuesday, 2/14/12.
NBA Matchup: Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers
Date: Tuesday, February 14th, 7:00 ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
NBA Betting Odds: Miami -2
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV
So far this season, the Pacers have only been beaten at home twice by the Orlando Magic and most recently by the Denver Nuggets a few nights ago. This is a very rare scheduling spot that we are going to take big time advantage of. Miami has played four games on the road already in the last five days, including playing two nights ago in Atlanta and last night in Milwaukee. Sure, the Heat were able to win both of those games, but this is the third game in their third different city in as many nights. Meanwhile, the Pacers have been at home, and they haven’t played since Sunday. Throw in there the great play for Indiana here at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and the recipe seems to be awfully simple. Remember that this Indiana squad already has a win on the road against the Bulls this year, and if it can say that, it can say that it is good enough to win this game, especially in this spot as well.
NBA Pick: Indiana +2
NBA Matchup: Washington Wizards @ Portland Trail Blazers
Date: Tuesday, February 14th, 10:00 ET
Location: Rose Garden, Portland, OR
NBA Betting Odds: Portland -15
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV
The Trail Blazers are a great home team, but are they really worthy of laying more than two touchdowns on the road against a team that is playing some of its best ball of the year? Okay, saying that the Wizards are playing their best ball is like saying that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had their best game in their 10-game losing streak at the end of the season in that “close loss” to the Green Bay Packers… But regardless, we still think that the Wizards have some talent and that they are going to show some sort of a pulse in this one. Portland has looked beatable at the Rose Garden over the last week, losing to both Oklahoma City (no shock) and Houston (more of a shock). The Blazers will get back in the win column tonight, but seeing a win by more than a dozen or so would be a bit surprising to us.
NBA Pick: Washington +15
