It’s time to tip off another great day of NBA betting action here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free basketball picks for some of the best games on the docket on Tuesday, 3/13/12.

NBA Matchup: Miami Heat @ Orlando Magic
Date: Tuesday, March 13th, 7:00 ET
Location: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
NBA Betting Odds: Miami -4.5
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

The Magic are running out of time to decide what the heck they want to do with Dwight Howard. We are still convinced that the team is going to make a move, but we think that the move is going to be bringing a player in, not getting rid of Dwight. That being said, at any point, a move could be made and the team could end up being short a heck of a lot of players… And being short a bunch of guys isn’t going to help when you’re talking about playing a Miami team that is just that darn good. The Heat should get the best of the Magic tonight.

NBA Pick: Miami -4.5

NBA Matchup: Washington Wizards @ Dallas Mavericks
Date: Tuesday, March 13th, 8:30 ET
Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX
NBA Betting Odds: Dallas -12.5
NBA TV Schedule: FSN

We are really starting to wonder about the Mavericks and whether they are even going to get into the playoffs this year. They have to be happy to have had a couple days off after a trip on the West Coast that included three straight losses, the last two of which came by 13 and 24 to Sacramento and Golden State… yuck! That being said, Washington is one of the worst teams in the league, and we just don’t see how this is happening. But asking a Dallas team that has played like that to win by almost two touchdowns just seems absurd.

NBA Pick: Washington +12.5
