Heat Lead Series 1-0

The trendy pick in Game 2 of this series is going to be on Indiana. The Pacers gave everything that they had in Game 1 to try to stop the mighty Heat, and it just wasn’t enough to finish the task at hand. Granted, we know that Head Coach Frank Vogel is going to be questioning his decision to not double team F LeBron James and not have C Roy Hibbert on the court for the biggest defensive stand of the season, and the argument could be made that from the point that layup floated home, the series might have already been over with. Miami though, could have played significantly better ball than it did in Game 1, and we think that it is going to be in a lot better shape here in Game 2. Remember back to the series against the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls won Game 1 and were destroyed in Games 2, 3, and 4 before Miami took its foot off of the gas pedal and barely won Game 5. That could be the same way the script pans out in this one. The difference is that Indiana doesn’t have that one win under its belt. Look for James to have another triple-double when push comes to shove, and that will lead the team to a victory that will move it within six wins of the NBA championship.

Pacers @ Heat Game 2 Pick: Miami Heat -7
Pacers @ Heat Game 2 Score Prediction: Heat 99 – Pacers 90
