Our Wednesday NBA picks are set to go once again, as we have our eye on the NBA odds on some of the best games on today’s NBA schedule.
NBA Matchup: Boston Celtics @ New Orleans Hornets
Date: Wednesday, December 28th, 8:00 ET
Location: New Orleans Arena, New Orleans, LA
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV, Comcast Sports
We really just don’t like the way that the Celtics continue to look right now. They are a shell of the team that was really an NBA Finals contender in each of the last few seasons, especially with Paul Pierce remaining sidelined. The bigs just continue to give absolutely nothing to the effort for Boston, and Head Coach Doc Rivers can only put up with so much more before he tells Aleksandar Pavlovic and Jermaine O’Neal to take a hike. New Orleans has gotten off to a great start to the season, and it would be fantastic to see Eric Gordon, Carl Landry, Emeka Okafor, and the new-look Hornets be able to come up with a win more or less in spite of the efforts of the NBA to hamper them with the whole Chris Paul debacle.
NBA Pick: New Orleans Hornets
NBA Matchup: New York Knicks @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Wednesday, December 28th, 10:30 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, San Francisco, CA
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV, MSG, Comcast Sports
Steph Curry came back to the lineup against the Chicago Bulls on Monday, scored 21 points, had 10 assists, and came up three boards and four steals shy of a quadruple-double. And then he tweaked his ankle once again and isn’t likely to play in this one. What we learned when Golden State took on the Los Angeles Clippers on opening night is that the squad has a tendency of really having some offensive issues when Curry isn’t on the court. If Chauncey Billups, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin could all score 20+ for a Clippers team that hasn’t been together all that long, we can only imagine what Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire are capable of.
NBA Pick: New York Knicks
