The time is here for more of our sparkling CBB picks, as we look at the schedule for basketball for Friday night. The Miami Hurricanes and Boston College Eagles will have it the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals, which can be seen on the college basketball TV schedule on ESPN2.

ACC Tournament Quarterfinals Picks: Boston College Eagles vs. Miami Hurricanes
Date: Friday, March 15th, 12:00 ET
Location: Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, NC
Boston College vs. Miami Live TV: ESPN2

The Eagles have been playing well over the course of the last few games, taking four in a row. Now, they could be in the NIT discussion after knocking off the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the first round of this tournament. Beating Miami would all of a sudden really change the course of the postseason for a team that was largely accepted as one of the worst in the ACC all season long. What has made the difference has been the play of G Olivier Hanlan. All of a sudden over the course of the last eight games, Hanlan has exploded, averaging 20.1 points per game for BC. He put up 41 in the first round of the ACC Tournament yesterday, and he could really be a force against a very good Miami defense. The Canes might be vulnerable in this one, knowing that they probably aren’t playing for all that much. The allure of getting into the NCAA Tournament well-rested might be more important than winning the ACC title, especially knowing that a No. 1 seed isn’t guaranteed to come with it. Roll with Boston College and the points on Friday, and don’t be 100% shocked if this one turns out to be one of those big time upsets that we love this time of year.

Boston College vs. Miami Pick: Boston College Eagles +7.5
ACC Quarterfinals Prediction: Boston College 68 – Miami 65
