If you you’re your defense, this is going to be the game for you. The oddsmakers literally probably couldn’t come up with a small enough number for this game if they tried. The Bearcats have played to a 21-4 record for ‘under’ bettors this year, and that number was only improved upon in the second round of this tournament when they beat the Providence Friars 61-44. Cincinnati ranks 22nd in the land, allowing 58.7 points per game this year, but this time around, it is going up against a defense that is awfully comparable. The Hoyas knew that they were in trouble in the regular season when they lost F Greg Whittington, who at the time, was the second leading scorer on the team. Though F Otto Porter really stepped up his game, as did G Markel Starks, the defense is what really kept this team on track. The Hoyas allow just 56.1 points per game this year, and they have to be salivating over the fact that they have had a bunch of days off in a row, whereas Cincinnati had to play just yesterday against a sturdy Providence team. There really is no other choice to make regardless of how low this number is. This is an ‘under’ waiting to happen.

Cincinnati vs. Georgetown Pick: Under
Big East Tournament Quarterfinals Predictions: Georgetown 49 – Cincinnati 43
