A pair of teams with very talented backcourts meet in Gainesville on Wednesday night, and we are set to make our college basketball picks in the duel between the Arizona Wildcats and the Florida Gators.

College Basketball Matchup: Arizona Wildcats @ Florida Gators
Date: Wednesday, December 7th, 7:00 ET
Location: O’Connell Dome, Gainesville, FL
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN,

The Gators have absolutely become a high flying team this year, as they are dropping 90+ points on seemingly everyone in the nation. Of course, their tallies this season have only come down thanks to 74 points against Ohio State and 68 most recently against Syracuse, but as this team gels with its five guard that arguably could all start in a lot of backcourts in America, things are only going to get better and better.

Arizona, on the other hand, just doesn’t have consistency without Derrick Williams to man the fort in the paint. The team has had a few great offensive games, namely wins on the road against St. John’s and New Mexico State, but there are some duds as well, including games in the 50s against Northern Arizona (albeit in a win), San Diego State, and Mississippi State. That being said, we do think that this could be a lot better offensive game for the Cats, especially since they are taking on a Florida team that we know is going to love to run. The Gators will get their points. The question is whether Arizona keeps up. We’d love to take the double digits in this one, but instead, we’ll go the easier route and just back the ‘over’ instead.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Over 144.5
