Duke is one of the two teams in the ACC that knows that it is absolutely dancing this year without a shadow of a doubt. The Blue Devils have the inside track to a No. 1 seed in the dance, and the reason for that is because games like this one are virtually always won. Maryland knows that it needs to claim a huge scalp at some point if it wants to be in the NCAA Tournament this year though, and this is a great opportunity to do just that. However, we have a real concern for the Terps on Saturday. Yes, they’re going to have a raucous crowd that is ready to go full bore, but they also have a real deficiency when it comes to experience in games like this one. They were outplayed from the get go when these two teams met at Cameron Indoor, and the end result was a 20-point thrashing. Unless C Alex Len can figure out how to slow down Plumlee, something that he absolutely was not able to do back in January, there is no way that Maryland is hanging around in this one.

Duke vs. Maryland Pick: Duke Blue Devils -5.5
Duke vs. Maryland Prediction: Duke 78 – Maryland 64
