Dicky V and the boys are going to be in Chapel Hill for what should be a great clash on Saturday night on Tobacco Road. The Tar Heels are quietly one of the hotter teams in the nation, as they have won six straight and covered seven straight, ironically dating back to the first time that these two teams met. There is no doubt that this is a much improved team since that point, especially on the defensive side of the ball. G Reggie Bullock is all over the boards, and F James Michael McAdoo is starting to lock guys down. The problem that UNC is going to have in this one is that there is no way to defend F Ryan Kelly and F Mason Plumlee at the same time. Bullock is going to likely have to draw Kelly, and that’s a tough matchup for sure, especially knowing that it takes Bullock away from the basket on the defensive side of the court. We think that this is a matchup nightmare for the Tar Heels now that Kelly is back in the fold, and Coach K is going to make sure that it shows when push comes to shove. Take the Dookies for the season sweep for your college basketball picks.

Duke vs. North Carolina Pick: Duke Blue Devils +1.5
Duke vs. North Carolina Prediction: Duke 78 – North Carolina 69
