The Blue Devils and the Hokies are clearly two very different teams. The Dookies are going to be laying quite a few points on the road in this one, and they are going to be a popular choice on the college basketball odds under the thought that they aren’t going to lose back to back games. Virginia Tech is a team that hasn’t won a game in over a month, and it rarely manages covers either. This feels like a nice spot to back the Hokies, though. They were devastated on the road to lose in overtime against the NC State Wolfpack, but it was the best showing that they have had in quite some time. V-Tech is a one-man team, which generally is a bad idea against a team like Duke. However, when G Erick Green gets going, this is a man that no one can stop. He is averaging over 25 points per game, and he can be a man that takes over all by himself no matter who the other team is in the game. On top of that, the Blue Devils are just 3-3 SU and 1-5 ATS on the road. We don’t think that the Dookies are going to lose this one, but in the end, this is still a game that Virginia Tech covers in our eyes.

Duke vs. Virginia Tech Pick: Virginia Tech Hokies +13.5
Duke vs. Virginia Tech Prediction: Duke 68 – Virginia Tech 64
