The NCAA Tournament will officially have its first team in the dance on Saturday when the Atlantic Sun crowns its champ. Florida Gulf Coast is back in the finale for the second straight season, and it is trying to get into the dance for the first time in school history. The Eagles are a solid team that can really run over the course of the full 40 minutes, but we aren’t all that sure that they are going to be able to do so when push comes to shove. They got the job done when these two teams met in the Sunshine State, but now that the series turns back to Macon, where the Eagles lost in overtime by seven this year back in January, the story could be much different. Mercer is going to bring its best defensive game in this one, and the hometown crowd is going to clearly help out a ton. The Bears haven’t danced in 18 years, but they’ll get the job done this year and send the hometown crowd into euphoria for the first punched ticket into the dance.

Florida Gulf Coast vs. Mercer Pick: Mercer Bears
Florida Gulf Coast vs. Mercer Prediction: Mercer 69 – Florida Gulf Coast 60
