This seems to be an easy game on one blush, knowing that the Bulldogs and the Gators are going in completely opposite directions. UF is 15-2 and is surely nearing the top line for the NCAA Tournament. The boys in orange and blue have fought through some nagging injuries and have only seemed to get better and better as a result. The Gators have won seven straight games and have covered five in a row. In each of those five covers, the club has been a double digit favorite, and all of the wins have come by at least 21 points. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have dropped three in a row by an average of 24.3 points per game. It’s really easy to just ultimately dismiss a team that simply can’t score all that much in Mississippi State, but that wouldn’t necessarily be the wise thing to do. This is a tremendous college basketball point spread that we are getting on our side. We know that recent numbers suggest that the Gators will cover, but there has to be some market correction at some point. Teams simply don’t win all of their conference games by double digit margins, particularly the road games.

Mississippi State vs. Florida Pick: Mississippi State Bulldogs +20
Mississippi State vs. Florida Prediction: Florida 68 – Mississippi State 61
