Monday night’s college hoops schedule is posted at Cappers Info, and we are taking a close look at some of the best games on the slate and making our NCAA basketball picks for the duels ahead.

College Basketball Matchup: Kansas Jayhawks @ Oklahoma State Cowboys
Date: Monday, February 27th, 9:00 ET
Location: Gallagher Iba Arena, Stillwater, OK
College Basketball Odds: Kansas -10
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN,

Be very, very careful, Kansas… The Jayhawks are by no means indestructible, and the fact that they had to pour so much emotion into Saturday’s win over the Missouri Tigers scares the heck out of us. That was a game at home with a ton of emotion in it, knowing that the rivalry between those two teams is ridiculously intense. To make matters even greater, the game gave the Jayhawks the Big XII regular season title, and it certainly gave them the edge right now for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament if it were to come down to those two teams. This one is a lot different, though. This is a road game against an Oklahoma State team that isn’t all that great, but has pulled off some upsets here at Gallagher Iba Arena, including one over this same aforementioned Missouri squad. Keiton Page is quietly turning into one of the best scorers in the Big XII, and if he can really get going and the bigs don’t have good games for KU, the Pokes could be in line for an upset.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Oklahoma State +10

College Basketball Matchup: Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Georgetown Hoyas
Date: Monday, February 27th, 7:00 ET
Location: Verizon Center, Washington DC
College Basketball Odds: Georgetown -6
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN,

Big Monday’s duel in the Big East is a good one, as both the Irish and the Hoyas have their sights set on the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden. Both teams have had their struggles. Notre Dame just lost at the aforementioned Garden to the St. John’s Red Storm, while the Hoyas were embarrassed last week by the Seton Hall Pirates. Now, both teams are hoping to build up some momentum. We’re not all that sure about G-Town, though. The Hoyas made it into the Top 10 in the country, but we aren’t so sure that that is justified. In the end, they have beaten most of the bad teams in the conference, and really over the course of the last month and a half, the only really great game that they played was the OT loss against the Syracuse Orange in the Carrier Dome. Go with the Irish and the points on Monday.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Notre Dame +6
