The Fighting Irish have failed to cover three in a row in the Big East, and they are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall, but they at least got back in the win column against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights over the weekend here at home. We are just waiting to see this team get back to its offensive ways, and that won’t quite be Monday night in all likelihood. Georgetown, for all of its faults, has a great defensive team, and there is no doubt that the Irish will be held down again in this one. The problem that we have though, is that G-Town just has no offense whatsoever. Case in point, the team scored just 58 against the South Florida Bulls, and save for F Otto Porter and F D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera, the rest of the team scored just 21 total points. That isn’t going to cut it, even against Notre Dame. F Jack Cooley will be able to slug it out with Porter and the other Georgetown bigs in the paint, and in the end, the Irish are going to walk away with a relatively easy victory on MLK Day.

Georgetown vs. Notre Dame Pick: Notre Dame Fighting Irish -7
Georgetown vs. Notre Dame Prediction: Notre Dame 65 – Georgetown 54
