The Jayhawks just continue to roll through the Big XII without a problem, and they have now picked up back to back covers against the Kansas State Wildcats and the Oklahoma Sooners. Now comes a West Virginia team that really hasn’t beaten much of anyone this year in the Big XII. The losses have been mounting, especially here at home, and the only victory that the team has pulled off of any note here all season long was a 71-50 conference victory over a TCU Horned Frogs side that is the worst in the conference. Here’s the good news for WVU: This is going to be a heck of a lot of points that it is given in this game. The Jayhawks are great defensively, but with a spread like this one, it might only take getting to about 55 points or so to get the cover if you’re the Mountaineers. Remember that Kansas hasn’t scored more than 67 points in a game since January 9th. This is going to be just too many for the first conference meeting that these two have had. We don’t think that the ‘Neers have the ability to pull off the upset, but we do think there’s a legitimate possibility that they can at least stick inside of a hefty number.

Kansas vs. West Virginia Pick: West Virginia Mountaineers +9.5
Kansas vs. West Virginia Prediction: Kansas 64 – West Virginia 59
