This is always one of the biggest games of the year, and this year’s clash between Louisville and Kentucky is no different. These two teams are both contenders for the National Championship this year, though UK’s 23rd national ranking doesn’t exactly suggest that. So far what we have seen out of the Cats is that they have the ability to beat up the bad teams on sheer talent alone, but when it comes to beating some of the best in America, there are some real problems. The loss to the Baylor Bears is long since in the past though, and we think that four more games against suspect teams that have all ended in blowouts have gotten the confidence back in this outfit. This is legitimately still one of the most talented teams in America, and though we do know that C Gorgui Dieng is going to be back for the Cards, we don’t think that it is going to be enough. This one really seems like it is going to be an upset for the Big Blue Nation to us.

Kentucky vs. Louisville Pick: Kentucky Wildcats +8.5
Kentucky vs. Louisville Prediction: Kentucky 76 – Louisville 71
