This is quite the interesting game to try to handicap. On one hand, the Hoyas have really played arguably above what their capabilities seem to be in this five-game winning streak both from an SU and an ATS standpoint. On the other hand, the Golden Eagles are the top dogs in the Big East right now, and they are hoping to keep it that way. However, these next several games for Marquette are going to be telling for sure, as they have to go on the road three times and have home dates with Pittsburgh and Syracuse sandwiched in there as well. We just don’t know if Marquette is truly that good or not. Georgetown is a tremendous defensive team, and clubs like this have really given the Golden Eagles fits this year. Look no further than the 70-51 drubbing at the hands of the Louisville Cardinals to see what this team really is made of when it takes on some of the best in the Big East. If this game is played to around 100 points like the first meeting of the year was, Marquette isn’t going to be so lucky as to walk away with a one-point victory. This should be a game won and covered by the hosts.

Marquette vs. Georgetown Pick: Georgetown Hoyas -3.5
Marquette vs. Georgetown Prediction: Georgetown 58 – Marquette 51
