More bubble teams are falling by the wayside as the days roll on towards Selection Sunday, and now, it’s Maryland’s turn to try to get on the right side of the bubble. The Terps absolutely have to have this one against the Blue Devils if they want to dance, and anything less would send them to the NIT. This is a terrible spot to try to get this win, though. Duke is playing a de facto home game in Greensboro, and it isn’t often that it gets beaten, especially early here in the ACC Tournament. The Blue Devils have a major score to settle here with Maryland as well after losing in College Park earlier this year. C Alex Len had a monster night against F Mason Plumlee and the bigs that Duke brought to the table in that game, but there is no way that he is going to be able to do that again. Not only should Plumlee play better, but the Blue Devils should be getting a lot more production offensively in this one than they did last month just because they have F Ryan Kelly back in the fold. Kelly has been out of this world since coming back, and that has made this Duke team a real contender to win it all. There’s no way that we can back Maryland regardless of how big this point spread is.

Maryland vs. Duke Pick: Duke Blue Devils
ACC Quarterfinals Prediction: Duke 83 – Maryland 66
