We’re making the assumption that the oddsmakers have been paying close attention to what Duke and Maryland have been doing over the course of the last few weeks, and the college basketball line is going to be set accordingly. The Terps have been awful. They have failed to cover five in a row and have won just two of those five games. Now, they have to go on the road for three of their next four, where they haven’t won or covered an ACC game yet this year. The Blue Devils were terrible against the Miami Hurricanes on Wednesday night, getting absolutely blown to bits. It was their second straight loss on the road, but they had won a ton of games by at least 16 points prior to that in a row. The Blue Devils are going to be favored by oodles in this one, and this is where we think that market correction is going to kick into play. The Blue Devils are great, but they shouldn’t be laying this many to a team that hasn’t won 15 games on accident this season. This won’t be a win for Maryland by any stretch of the imagination, but it could be a respectable game with a relatively close result.

Maryland vs. Duke Pick: Maryland Terrapins +12.5
Maryland vs. Duke Prediction: Duke 71 – Maryland 66
