Most make the assumption that the Blue Devils are just going to hammer the Hurricanes, making amends for a game that was really never even close in South Beach earlier this year. It does seem to make a lot of sense. After all, the Dookies are coming off of that bad loss to the Virginia Cavaliers, and they are relatively unbeatable at home (14-0). Has anyone though, questioned whether these Blue Devils just aren’t all that good when push comes to shove? Who have they really beaten this year? NC State? North Carolina? Wins over Ohio State, Louisville, VCU, and Kentucky all came with F Ryan Kelly in the lineup, and though Kelly is expected to be back soon, he still isn’t going to be back in all likelihood until at least next week. The Hurricanes have figured out how to win some big time games this year, not the least of which came against these Blue Devils at home. They have already won 10 games on the road this season, including beating NC State, North Carolina, and a few others like UMass and UCF that are most certainly notable. This could be the game where the Hurricanes become a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament once and for all. Back the Hurricanes and the points, and don’t be shocked if they pull off the upset.

Miami vs. Duke Pick: Miami Hurricanes +7
Miami vs. Duke Prediction: Miami 81 – Duke 77
